We know that goodness of fit between teacher and student, combined with consistency and reliability is paramount in successfully reaching your health and wellness goals. As such, our Certified Yoga Instructor, Shawn Clavelle, provides instruction exclusively at Willow Tree and is the only instructor to offer classes within our wellness center. Shawn strives to develop a relationship with each student to ensure you receive the expert gudiance and support you need to create lasting change.
Ongoing Yoga & Focused Fitness Classes
Warm up this winter with Hot Yoga and reap the many benefits of this popular practice! Hot yoga helps to cleanse and detox the body. Practicing yoga in our 90 degree heated studio helps to prevent injury and allows for deeper muscle release. Additionally, as you practice, endorphins are released helping to reverse the negative effects of stress. During a hot yoga class, Shawn will lead you through various flow sequences designed to give you a comprehensive workout.
Our All Levels Yoga class is well suited for all levels of experience. As a beginner, you will enjoy the attention that is paid to proper alignment, Vinyasa flow sequences, and one-on-one assistance with positioning. As an intermediate student, this class will appeal to those who want to build upon the fundamentals of their practice, reach a new level, and alleviate stress. Our All Levels class is also for those with advanced yoga experience who want to generate heat, break a sweat, and challenge themselves to achieve a deeper level or practice.
MID-WEEK RECHARGE YOGA
Join us every Wednesday at 5:30 pm to recharge your mind and body. This class begins and ends with guided meditation to support you in letting go of what no longer serves you. Extra attention is devoted to breath work, getting you centered and focused on the present moment. We'll warm the body with 30 minutes of vinyasa yoga or moving meditation, followed by gentle stretching and an extended Savasana to end the class. If you're seeking more balance in your life, this is the perfect mid-week activity for you!
Core strength is about more than Abs and goes WAY beyond the dreaded crunches. In yoga, core strength is crucial to your practice and essential in progressing to the more challenging postures. This 30 minute class focuses on improving muscle strength in the abdominals, back, glutes and thighs.
Our focused fitness inversion training class teaches you the foundations of getting upside down! We'll walk you through the basics of conquering these fun and confidence-building poses in a safe way. This 30 minute class will help you take the first steps toward mastering these poses and experiencing inversions.
